You browse our product catalog, add items to your cart, and place your order with full payment upfront. Once your order is confirmed, a trusted buyer in Lagos sources your items fresh from local markets. Your order is then packed and shipped internationally to your US address, arriving in 10–16 days.

You can browse the site without an account, but you'll need to register before completing checkout. An account lets you track your orders, receive email status updates, and view your order history.

We only list items that are readily available in Lagos markets. Items are sourced after you place your order — not from a warehouse. Dried and shelf-stable products like stockfish, egusi, garri, and crayfish travel well internationally and maintain their quality during shipping.

All products are priced per kilogram. You choose your quantity using preset options (0.5 kg, 1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg) or enter a custom weight. Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on your total order weight, at a flat rate per kg. There are no hidden fees.

At this time we only sell items listed in our catalog. We only stock products that are consistently available in Lagos markets to ensure reliable fulfillment. If there's a product you'd love to see added, let us know and we'll consider it for a future update.

Orders are typically delivered within 10–16 days from the date of purchase. This includes 1–2 days for sourcing in Lagos, 7–12 days for international cargo shipping, and 1–2 days for last-mile delivery in the US.

Yes, we deliver to all 50 US states. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order.

Shipping is charged at a flat rate per kilogram of your total order weight. The shipping cost is shown clearly on your cart page and at checkout before you pay — there are no surprises.

Once you've placed your order, you'll receive email updates at every stage — confirmed, sourcing, shipped, and delivered. You can also log into your account at any time to view your order status tracker.

We accept all major debit and credit cards via Stripe, as well as PayPal. Payment is taken in full at checkout. Your card details are encrypted and processed securely — ShopFromNaija never stores payment information.

We do not accept returns on food items once sourced. If your order arrives damaged or contains incorrect items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right. Items that cannot be sourced are refunded in full. See our full Refund & Returns policy for details.

You can cancel your order for a full refund if you contact us before sourcing begins — usually within 12 hours of placing the order. Once sourcing has started, cancellations are no longer possible. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
